He’s the King of Rock n’ Roll and one of just a handful of entertainers that can be identified by a first name.

Of course, it’s Elvis. He was nothing if not versatile, releasing albums of rock, country, gospel, and even blues.

The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular concert, taking place Jan. 20 inside the Honeywell Center in Wabash, celebrates Presley as the greatest entertainer of all time with a lineup of some of the best Elvis tribute artists in the world including Shawn Klush, Cody Ray Slaughter, and Ryan Pelton.

Joined by The Blackwood Quartet, a headliner in their own right, these entertainers will take you through all the Elvis “eras” beginning with the “young Elvis” rockabilly years, moving through the military years, the movie years, the ’68 Comeback Special in black leather, and closing with the Las Vegas years.

The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Specatacular is the most successful touring Elvis tribute show available to see today and, unlike the real Elvis, who never performed outside of North America, has performed Presley’s music all over the world.

In addition, the act has also performed on several television shows, including The Late Show with David Lettermen. Members of the cast have won many awards over the years, including “World’s Greatest Elvis” from the BBC, “Best Concert Elvis” in Nashville, and “Worldwide Ambassador of Elvis” in Las Vegas. — Chris Hupe
