The B-Side at One Lucky Guitar hosts Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Sam Evian on April 11. Evian stops by the B-Side while supporting his second album, You, Forever, which was heralded by Allmusic as having a “distinctively mellow, ’60s- and ’70s-vintage sound” while Under The Radar called it “a true early summer delight.”

However you want to portray Evian, one listen to anything he has recorded, solo or with his band Celestial Shore, and it becomes immediately clear that he flies the flag of his folk influences proudly while putting his own actions and desires under a microscope, creating stories that reminds one of Simon & Garfunkel, though his music is often centered around the guitar, with different styles seeping through the cracks of his brilliant lyrics.

Still not sold on Evian? Stop by the B-Side and decide for yourself in one of the most intimate venues you’ll find anywhere. With its maximum capacity of 70 patrons, the B-Side allows audiences to get up close and personal with visiting artists, presenting the opportunity to get fully immersed in the beauty of the music.
