Everclear’s annual Summerland Tour is back in 2021 after a long year of COVID-19. The multi-band showcase is headed to Piere’s on July 17 and will feature the multi-platinum-selling band as headliner for the night.

Everclear shot to superstardom in 1995 on the strength of the single, “Santa Monica.” Followed by that was “I Will Buy You a New Life” and “Everything to Everyone,” both released in 1997.

Determined to make this tour unforgettable, Everclear front man Art Alexakis and the rest of the band will bring some heavy hitters on the road with them.

Living Colour, the creators of the Grammy Award-winning “Cult of Personality,” will be on hand to rock the Summit City, as well as multi-platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning Fort Wayne favorites Hoobastank. “Teenage Dirtbag” masterminds Wheatus will open the show.

In a press release about the tour, Alexakis, who fought a two-month battle with COVID-19 last year, said this year’s Summerland Tour lineup is one he is personally excited to see.

“Living Colour, Hoobastank, and Wheatus have always been personal favorites of mine,” Alexakis said. “I’m excited to share the stage with them this summer. I speak for the whole tour when I say we are absolutely grateful and thrilled to go back out on the road again and perform live music for our fans, friends, and family.”
