The Crooked Lake Sandbar Music Festival has announced the musical acts that will be hitting the stage at this year’s event. The festival is celebrating its eighth year on Friday and Saturday, July 23 and 24, with a local and regional lineup that will be sure to satisfy all.

Beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, singer-songwriter Julia James takes the stage along with the party band Rekt. On Saturday, music begins at 11 a.m. with performances by The Band Brother, The Brothers Footman, TBC-The Band Cheyenne, and Clayton Anderson

The event will be hosted by DJ Double K and WANE  15’s Natalie Clydesdale. All together, the fun-filled family event benefits local charities like the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County. So it’s more than just a party, it’s for a cause.

The Spirit of the ’80s

Speaking of The Ruin, they are set to host glam rockers Wildstreet on Wednesday, April 21, when they bring their “Kings of the World Tour” to town.

These New Yorkers are all about sing-along choruses, blazing guitar solos, and powerful melodies, reminiscent of ’80s arena rock.

Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2009, the band has performed at major festivals such as Rocklahoma, SXSW, and M3 Rock Festival. They even made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. This all-ages show starts at 8 p.m. with local openers Namen Namen and Jonah Leatherman. There will be a $15 cover at the door.
