Chris Worth

One-half of the duo of Chris and Paul (Stewart), Chris Worth may be heir to the title of Hardest Working Man in Show Business.

He and Paul (on keybaords) have taken their act to 45 states, playing out of town two to three days a week, including clubs in Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis and, Worth said, Auburn.

“It's nice to play in front of crowds that don't know what to expect from us. They’re amazed at how much sound can come from just two people. I just love performing or I wouldn't be doing this,” Worth said.

Those new audiences soon learn what Worth’s legion of Fort Wayne-area fans already know. Worth has a terrific R&B voice and a way of involving everybody in the evening's entertainment. He should know what he's doing. Worth has been touring and performing for many years, including some West Coast studio sessions and several national tours, once as a back-up singer for Earth, Wind & Fire. When they’re in town, Chris and Paul often play at Bill's Bistro.

Worth also is working on a new CD, which is expected to be released in six to eight weeks. Entitled Sheva, (“It should be spelled with an ‘i,’ but it's too late now,” Worth said, smiling), the CD will contain original music and feature Stewart as well as Milenia (a close competitor in the Whanny voting).
